1. At the stop line
2. If there is no stop line and there is a sidewalk, then stop before the sidewalk, imagine that there is a crosswalk extending out in to the street.
3. If there is no stop line, or sidewalk, stop before the imaginary line where the two roads meet.

At intersections where you can’t see the cross-traffic clearly after coming to a complete stop at the correct position at a “STOP” signed intersection, you can move forward. After coming to a complete stop, treat the intersection as if it were signed with a yield. Pull up to a position where you can see the intersecting traffic and stop before entering its path. Yield to oncoming vehicles and proceed when the way is clear, proceed.
