Class 1 & 3 Commercial Transport Training
At Crossroads we are committed to teaching our students all the essential skills required for proper operation of a commercial vehicle and how to be Safe on the road. This training is designed for people who already have their Class 5 and want to learn to drive a commercial vehicle. All training is done in one of our up-to-date, safety certified vehicles and all lessons are one-on-one with the instructor. We will customize our lessons to meet your needs, in order to teach drivers to do the job right!

Prerequisites

Students starting training must be 18 years or older for Class 3 and 19 years or older  for Class 1 and hold a valid BC learners license. Students will be responsible for the ICBC road test and licensing fees. Also, it is recommended that students complete their Air brake endorsement prior to starting their training as the certificate will be required before completing their road test. Once the ICBC road test is complete the student will be given a medical form which must be completed before the permanent license is issued.

  ICBC fees:
  • Learners License (knowledge test) fee $15
  • Class 1 Road Test fee $60
  • Class 3 Road Test fee $50
  • Licensing fee $17
  • Medical Form processing/administration fee $28
  • BC Medical Exam approx. $100 (depending on your doctors fees)  
Lessons are $100 per hour. No GST
